Our Team

Our full time support staff provide an important link between our clients, the insurance adjusters and the attorney. When you call The Law Office of Channing Migner, one of our skilled staff will answer your call and provide the initial assessment of how best to meet your needs–whether you are calling for the first time or have been a client for years. New clients can expect to be asked a number of pertinent questions about his or her case before connecting you to the attorney.

Once your case has been accepted, you will find our professional and knowledgeable staff to be a valuable resource. They can often answer your immediate questions and resolve many of the typical concerns that arise across the life cycle of a case. Of course there are times that the attorney will need to be consulted and the staff will refer to that expertise. Of course they will always take a detailed message for you.

Attorney J. Channing Migner

Channing began his career in  workers’ compensation while working for  an insurance company in Portland, Maine and later in Boston, Massachusetts. These early experiences “on the other side” would give him an insider’s knowledge that help him today win higher awards for his  clients against insurance companies.

He quickly realized that he would rather represent the injured worker than the insurance industry. He started attending law school at night to fulfill this desire. Ever since his graduation from law school, Channing has devoted his energies to representing injured workers.  He has devoted  his law practice to  Workers Compensation, Social Security Disability and Personal Injury Law since 1985.

His cases have  involved a wide variety of  work related conditions such as repetitive strain injuries (such as carpal tunnel), traumatic brain injuries, chemical exposures,  neck and back injuries, Post traumatic Stress Disorder and countless other work related conditions. Of Counsel

Because we want to be sure that you are getting the very best representation, we sometimes work closely with select attorneys outside of our own firm, who bring specialized expertise to our practice of the law. We trust these attorneys implicitly and these relationships both expand and enrich our own practice.

Referrals to colleagues

The effective practice of law is highly specialized and our practice is no exception. We take pride in knowing our areas of expertise as well as those areas of the law that need to be referred to others. We have a broad network of colleagues with whom we are connected and will refer you to other attorneys when that is appropriate.
